Athletic Training at Only the Elite

Only the Elite is a unique athletic training performance center opened on 2016 in Schertz, Texas by Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Chris Garrett.  Chris and his experienced staff  specialize in providing athletes of all ages and skill levels with the type of strength and conditioning training typically only found in the high economic value world of professional sports.

The Only the Elite website states, “We design and implement scientifically derived training programs that produce measurable results.  From explosive and powerful, to quick  and mobile, our athletes gain the performance advantage needed to thrive in today’s competitive athletic environment.  We create a motivational culture within our facility that encourages each and every athlete and client to push themselves to, and beyond, the limits of human performance.”

The 11,000 square foot athletic training facility includes 1,800 square feet of Sport Court® High Gloss Maple Select flooring, a similar sized space with rubber weight room flooring, and nearly 5,000 square feet of artificial turf which includes a batting cage that raises and lowers from the ceiling.

During construction of Only the Elite, we worked closely with Chris to help him identify cost saving options.  These included self installation of the rubber flooring, a custom net system to protect a wall bordering the Sport Court® flooring, and a volleyball system that could span between the building’s existing support columns.  We were also able to provide and install the batting cage at a price that was significantly less than other Texas bases vendors.
