Product Description
The Pro Jam Basketball Goal from Gared Sports is a competition level goal, perfect for residential, schools, churches, gyms, and rec center courts. This goal comes with a 72” backboard, available in glass or acrylic. It also has a height adjuster and double spring breakaway collegiate rim.
What’s Included
This ground mount basketball goal includes a glass or acrylic backboard, pole, connection arms, collegiate double spring breakaway rim, height adjuster, ground anchors, and associated hardware.
Backboard
The backboard that comes with the Pro Jam Basketball Goal measures 72”x42” and is available in glass or acrylic. Both of the backboards have a powder coated steel frame. Extruded aluminum wraps around the outside of the board to give it a sleek professional look.
Pole
This unit comes with a 6” square post with welded cap and bottom plate. The post is powder coated black for resistance to rust. The arms which connect the pole to the backboard are also powder coated black.
Ground Anchors
The ground anchors are comprised of two 5/8” diameter U bolts and #3 rebar. A disposable template is included to aid in proper positioning of the anchor bolts.
Breakaway Rim
The Pro Jam Basketball Goal comes standard with a collegiate double spring breakaway rim in order to replicate the feel of a competition goal. The rim is powder coated orange and comes with an anti-whip nylon net.
Height Adjuster
This basketball goal features a heavy duty actuator which allows players to raise and lower the rim between 7’ and 10’. The handle of the actuator can easily be removed to prevent height adjustment.
Optional Pads
For added safety, pads are available for the backboard, pole, and base of the pole (to cover the anchor bolts). All pads are black and are sold separately.
The backboard pad comes with self tapping screws which anchor to the aluminum frame. Screws holes are recessed into the backboard pad for added safety.
The fitted wrap around pole pad covers the face and sides of the pole. Straps with hook & loop fasteners wrap around the back side of the pole to hold the pad securely in place.
The base pad is a 4 sided pad designed to cover the steel base of the pole and the anchor bolts. Hook & loop fasteners secure the pad.
Both the pole pad and the base pad are constructed with 2” thick closed cell polyurethane foam covered in 18oz UV resistant vinyl. Both of these pads are designed specifically for 6” square posts.
Warranty
Gared Sports offers a one year warranty on the Pro Jam Basketball Goal. The optional pads also come with a 1 year warranty.

Shipping Location
Our flat fee shipping rate is for shipping within the continental United States. If you would like this basketball goal or any other gym equipment shipped elsewhere, please contact us so that we may provide a custom shipping quote.
Delivery
We will request that your order be delivered on a truck equipped with a lift gate. However, freight companies are known to disregard these instructions. If the driver shows up without a lift gate, and the order cannot be unloaded, please contact us immediately so that we can verify that a left gate was on the freight order.
The driver may need assistance unloading your freight. The friendlier or more helpful you are or the promise of a tip, will go along way when working with drivers. A average tip for this type of delivery is $10 to $20.
Drivers are not required to delivery pallets to an indoor space. There is an extra fee for indoor delivery. Again, if you’re friendly and helpful or offer a tip, most drivers will provide additional assistance.
Damage
Please list all noticeable damage on the delivery ticket before signing. Also, please take photos of damage immediately. Email us the photos so that we can work with the shipper to rectify any problems.
