Sport Court® created the first modular outdoor basketball court flooring surface in 1974.  In the half-century since, Sport Court® has redesigned our surfacing numerous times to maximize performance, safety, and longevity.  The designers and engineers at Sport Court® have also perfected game court flooring for pickleball, volleyball, and indoor gymnasiums.

The Sport Court® outdoor basketball court flooring surface has proven to withstand the harshest environments.  These include extreme heat/sun, sub-zero freezing, monsoon rains, desert dryness, and anything else Mother Nature can cook up.  Sport Court® remains the only modular surface to last more than 5 years.  Indeed, many of our clients have enjoyed their original Sport Court® surface for over 20 years.  Conversely, we have never seen any copycat products withstand even 5 years of sun without dramatic fading and/or material breakdown.

Sport Court® outdoor basketball flooring provides excellent traction with lower skin abrasion when compared to bare concrete, acrylic, and asphalt.  And, Sport Court® Power Game+ surfacing provides up to 36“ of fall protection without sacrificing ball bounce.  No other outdoor basketball court flooring surface offers this fall protection.  But, Sport Court® goes even further with patented lateral shock absorption.  This provides enhanced player safety by reducing strain on the ankles, knees, and other joints that are commonly injured during play.

All Sport Court® flooring options provide basketball bounce similar to a suspended hardwood floor but without dead spots.  It is estimated that greater than 95% of all NBA players chose Sport Court® for their home court.  Looking at San Antonio specifically, Tim Duncan, David Robinson, Tony Parker, and George Gervin all have Sport Court® basketball surfacing on their home courts.  Nationally, retired professionals such as Dominique Wilkens and Nancy Lieberman work closely with Sport Court® on projects in their regions and even nationally.  If it was not for Sport Court’s performance, these long-term relationships would not exist.
