Product Description
The Endurance Basketball Goal from Gared Sports is a recreation level goal, perfect for residential, schools, churches, gyms, playgrounds, and rec center courts. This goal is available with a 60” or 72” backboard, available in glass or acrylic. It comes with a double spring breakaway collegiate rim.
What’s Included
This ground mount basketball goal includes a glass or acrylic backboard, pole, connection arms, collegiate double spring breakaway rim, and associated hardware.
Backboard
The backboard options for the Endurance Basketball Goal are 60”x42” or 72”x42”. Both sizes are available in glass or acrylic. Both of the backboards have a powder coated steel frame. Extruded aluminum wraps around the outside of the board to give it a sleek professional look.
Pole
This unit comes with a 1/4” thick (schedule 40), 14’ long, 6”x6” square post. The post is galvanized and then powder coated black for enhanced resistance to rust. The arms which connect the pole to the backboard are also powder coated black.
Breakaway Rim
The Endurance Basketball Goal comes standard with a collegiate double spring breakaway rim in order to replicate the feel of a competition goal. The rim is powder coated orange and comes with an anti-whip nylon net.
Optional Pads
For added safety, pads are available for the backboard and the pole. All pads are black and are sold separately.
The backboard pad comes with self tapping screws which anchor to the aluminum frame. Screws holes are recessed into the backboard pad for added safety.
The fitted wrap around pole pad covers the face and sides of the pole. Straps with hook & loop fasteners wrap around the back side of the pole to hold the pad securely in place.
The pole pad is constructed with 2” thick closed cell polyurethane foam covered in 18oz UV resistant vinyl. This pad is designed specifically for 6” square posts.
Warranty
Gared Sports offers a lifetime limited warranty on the Endurance Basketball Goal. The optional pads come with a 1 year warranty.
Shipping
This ground mount basketball goal is shipped on a 4’ x 6’ pallet. The pole is shipped wrapped in cardboard or plastic. The total shipping weight is a minimum of 750 pounds, including pallet and packaging. The weight will vary based on backboard size/type and offset from post.

Shipping Location

Delivery
We will request that your order be delivered on a truck equipped with a lift gate. However, freight companies are known to disregard these instructions. If the driver shows up without a lift gate, and the order cannot be unloaded, please contact us immediately so that we can verify that a lift gate was on the freight order.
The driver may need assistance unloading your freight. The friendlier or more helpful you are or the promise of a tip, will go along way when working with drivers. A average tip for this type of delivery is $10 to $20.
Drivers are not required to deliver pallets to an indoor space. There is an extra fee for indoor delivery. Again, if you’re friendly and helpful or offer a tip, most drivers will provide additional assistance.
Damage
Please list all noticeable damage on the delivery ticket before signing. Also, please take photos of damage immediately. Email us the photos so that we can work with the shipper to rectify any problems.
