In 2017, Adidas hired Brooklyn based artist, Shawna X, to create graphics for the USA Volleyball High Performance Championships held in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Shawna X, who is known for her bright colorful work, created a design that spans across two volleyball courts. The image was digitally printed on Sport Court® Response flooring and then top coated with Sport Court’s proprietary high gloss urethane finish.
After printing and top coating with urethane, Adidas donated this Sport Court® Gym Floor to USA Volleyball for use in future tournaments.
The ability to digitally print logos, lettering, or artwork, such as on this Adidas USA Volleyball gym floor, is unique to Sport Court® because only Sport Court® offers a long lasting multi-layer factory applied urethane top coat. Without these protective layers of urethane, the digitally printed image would not stand up to the abuse thrown at it in a gymnasium or tournament environment.
