The Face of Bank on this system ranges from 4 to 12 feet from the wall. (This is the distance between the wall and the front face of the backboard.)
This Side Fold Wall Mount Basketball Goal package includes the following essential components:
The AFRG42 is the strongest aluminum-framed glass backboard available. It withstands up to 900 pounds of force. As a result, it works with wall mount backstops, ceiling-suspended backstops, and portable arena goals used in NBA facilities.
For even more strength, the LXP4200 glass backboard by Gared Sports withstands 1,100 pounds of force. Furthermore, this backboard is compatible with various backstop systems, including portable NBA-style goals.
The 2000+ breakaway rim has been installed in more facilities than any other model. Additionally, it meets or exceeds all major standards, including NCAA and AAU. This rim flexes at 140 pounds of dynamic force, but you can adjust the spring tension as needed.
PMCE Pro-Mold backboard pads come in 16 standard colors. Each pad includes pre-drilled bolt holes for easy installation on both LXP4200 and AFRG42 backboards.
The backstop connects the backboard to the wall or ceiling, depending on your setup. It’s available in five telescoping sizes, making it easy to select the proper Face of Bank. In other words, you can set the backboard at the perfect distance from the wall.
By default, Gared Sports provides the backstop in black. However, you may choose from seven other powder-coated colors. Custom colors are available for an additional fee. Typically, black units ship within a few days. Other colors may add 1 to 2 weeks to delivery time.
The height adjuster lowers the rim height down to 8 feet. You can operate it either manually with a shepherd’s hook or via electric motor. Because it adds about 10 inches of space between the backstop and the backboard, you’ll need to account for this when choosing your backstop size.
For example, if your Face of Bank is 6’5” and you plan to include a height adjuster, then the 4’ to 6’ backstop option is ideal. This accounts for the extra 10 inches added by the adjuster. Please note that the height adjuster is only available in black.
This is a heavy-duty commercial basketball goal. Therefore, only experienced installers should handle it. Typically, two strong individuals and a scissor lift are needed. Alternatively, scaffolding can also work. Although we provide reliable equipment, South Texas Sport Court Flooring and Gared Sports accept no liability for injury or damage caused by improper installation.

Size and Weight
The stationary wall mount basketball goals with a steel framed glass backboard is shipped on either a 4’ x 6’ or 4’ x 8’ pallet. The total shipping weight is a minimum of 400 pounds, including pallet and packaging.
Shipping Location
Our flat fee shipping rate is for shipping within the continental United States. If you would like this basketball goal or any other gym equipment shipped elsewhere, please contact us so that we may provide a custom shipping quote.
Delivery
We will request that your order be delivered on a truck equipped with a lift gate. However, freight companies are known to disregard these instructions. If the driver shows up without a lift gate, and the order cannot be unloaded, please contact us immediately so that we can verify that a left gate was on the freight order.
The driver may need assistance unloading your freight. The friendlier or more helpful you are or the promise of a tip, will go along way when working with drivers. A average tip for this type of delivery is $10 to $20.
Drivers are not required to delivery pallets to an indoor space. There is an extra fee for indoor delivery. Again, if you’re friendly and helpful or offer a tip, most drivers will provide additional assistance.
Damage
Please list all noticeable damage on the delivery ticket before signing. Also, please take photos of damage immediately. Email us the photos so that we can work with the shipper to rectify any problems.
